LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM

When transport via the low pressure system is complete, the -head-air apparatus is installed at the front end to transport the power via the air pressure generated from the device. The above system has the air pressure device at the front end, but it generates pressure after taking in air. Therefore, the filtering device is installed at the front end of the -head-air apparatus to prevent foreign substances from being mixed in. To keep a lower concentration and to supply a regular amount of material to be discharged to a transfer pipe, a supplying device like a Rotary Feeder and an Air Lock Hopper are necessary. The air intake devices most frequently used are ROOTS and the TURBO BLOWER. This is a system suitable for distributing and transporting to multiple areas, with its diverter installed in the middle of the system.

CHARACTERISTICS OF THE LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM

This device is suitable for distributing and transporting a single material to multiple places. Because the inside of the system is under static pressure, it is impossible for outside air to enter, even when there are gaps or wear and tear holes. With the separate collector, the outer air cannot permeate the inside and is easily discharged.

PRECAUTIONS FOR THE LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM

For the optimum supply of transported material at the feeding inlet, the correct equipment should be selected after considering the shape of the transported materials, the transportation pressure and the type of feeder. Transportation pressure increases when the emission source is the head-air apparatus. This increases the transportation distance and the amount of transportation. As such, there should be restrictions on this.

PET CHIP HANDLING

This system handles all processes related to PET chip handling, beginning with transporting PET (the main material of film) to the indoor manufacturing facility with the use of a blower, which is the air source from the Silo that stores raw PET materials installed outdoors. It can also take measurements, mix, dry the system, and perform extrusion.
Raw materials are stored in each storage Silo with the separate construction of a Dumping System and a 2-place line. Each main material for production is transported to the outdoor service tank through the transport Blower and the discharge device. It is discharged in the following order: measurement of the DOSING UNIT, CRYSTALIZER, DRYER and the measurement, mixing, and drying process.

EXAMPLE OF A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM INSTALLATION

  1. SILO FOR MATERIAL STORAGE
    Silo installed on the structure of the facility was finished with the outer wall closed on each floor to allow the installation of devices and working space.
  2. CYCLONE & DUST FILTER
    Separates and discharges the material transported to the Blower, and the dust in the separated air is collected by the Dust Collector
  3. RING BLOWER FOR TRANSPORTATION
    This is selected after various processes of design and data analysis, including consideration of factors such as transportation capacity, pressure, and air amount.
  4. AIR LOCK HOPPER & ROTARY FEEDER
    Controls the amount of material discharged to the lower part of the Silo, and can smooth discharge and transportation without the leakage of air pressure
  5. SERVICE VESSEL
    The Temporary Storage of material transported from the Silo and other storage facilities sends it to other processes, including mixing and measuring.
  6. LARGE CAPACITY DEHUMIDIFYING DRYER
    The Dryer installed on the main unit is a jacket type and controls temperature by using steam, circulates N2 (gas), minimizes the water content and discharges to the Extruder.
